"After suffering 2 spinal compression fractures and broken ribs, I feel cautious about doing more damage by doing the wrong sort of exercise. However, I feel safe and supported during Imogen’s classes. The exercises are gentle but effective, in a calm friendly environment, and allow me to continue my yoga practice, but can also be done without any previous experience of yoga. It is also lovely to meet other people who have osteoporosis, discuss diet and needs generally." Diane
"I have practised yoga for 40 years and have really missed classes over the last two years due to several spontaneous osteoporotic fractures. Even though I have experienced your thoughtful and careful teaching in the past I was still apprehensive at the first session. However I am really appreciating the structured teaching which reflects an understanding of osteoporosis. The emphasis is on each person doing what they feel is right for them. The focus is on strengthening muscles, balancing and stretching within each person’s capacity. Also and very importantly using the breath as part of the postures and also to relax. I would thoroughly recommend this class to any one who has osteopenia osteoporosis or osteopenia." Sue
